I studied jewellery and silversmithing at Hornsey College of Art, and later, for an MA at the School of Jewellery, Birmingham.
I have also been on various courses, ranging from Blacksmithing to Keum Boo, and I enjoy experimenting with ideas and materials, and problem solving.
I take inspiration from plant forms, rock strata, the flow of water and the coast, and also from Bronze Age jewellery, in particular some forged spiral twisted torcs.
I use a variety of materials and techniques, fine and argentium silver, 18ct gold, and gold keum boo, stained glass, texture and patination.
Jocelyn can work to commission, and creates individual pieces, and limited edition work, to her own design.
