Helena Symes

Helena is a designer maker living and working in Southsea, Hampshire. With a background in Fine Art, Helena started learning to work with silver while travelling in India.

She studied with a jeweller in Rajasthan then continued to build on her skills on her return to the UK.

Helena finds inspiration from her travels and tribal cultures.

Geometry and repeated forms feature in Helena's designs and she also enjoys mixing silver and gold with different elements, often using and recycling found objects.
