Gillian Hackett

.Gillian has been making handmade sterling silver jewellery for over 17 years from her home studio in Hampshire using traditional goldsmithing techniques. She mostly uses recycled sterling silver and often embellishes her designs with gold (recycled) and gemstones.

She loves creating unique pieces with movement, which are both tactile and eye-catching. Her designs often incorporate simple geometric shapes, with a twist and a turn!

Her kinetic Concentric Circles Range comprises five rings which pivot around a central sterling pin. Each of the handmade rings fit snuggly inside one another in ever decreasing circles whilst also being able to spin freely around and within each other.

These symmetrical, orbiting rings can move easily on their own in different directions but can equally lie flat for a completely different look, which are eye-catching from any angle.

The Concentric Circles are intriguingly tactile pieces which are fantastic to fidget and fiddle with regardless of whether they are adorning the neck, wrist or ears!
