Amy Hubbard

She graduated from UCA Farnham in 2007, She has been working full time as a goldsmith for an independent jeweller in Hampshire since 2011, alongside making her own pieces and taking on commissions mainly for friends & family.

She has also been teaching silver jewellery making & pearl stringing classes since 2005

Working mostly to commission & in small batch collections, Amy loves creating bespoke jewellery interlaced with personal connection. Crafted with intention, each piece is designed to embody stories & symbols unique to the wearer.

Her work blends precious metals and gemstones with a combination of modern & traditional skills to form treasured future heirlooms.  Pieces of jewellery which are highly wearable and bring joy.

Some of her favourite techniques to work with are sand casting, pearl & bead stringing, and during lockdown she learned CAD using Rhino.
