Charlie Leftley
The natural world is Charlie’s main inspiration and drives her design process, from the complex structures of cells, the pitted texture of driftwood, to the intricate lace formations of Lycan clinging to branches in the woods. She surrounds herself with found objects of all kinds and this filters through into her jewellery.
Nature’s constant ability to surprise and adapt also influences how she creates. Often this is seen through her playing with colour combinations, exploring the balance and symmetry of a design to keep pieces unique and individual whilst easy to enjoy and wear.
