Emma Calvert

Emma Calvert

Emma Calvert explores the creative possibilities of textiles as jewellery, reimagining the interplay between fabric and metalwork. Trained in Woven Textiles at Central Saint Martins, Emma’s practice is rooted in a love of pattern and texture, which she explores from her Dorset studio creating pieces from both ribbons and precious metals.

Her signature process involves casting antique ribbon textures into precious metals, from 16th-century trims to Art Deco braids, which led to an exclusive collection designed for the V&A Museum.

Alongside this. Emma’s bespoke service transforms sentimental fabrics, like bridal lace, into modern fine jewellery so they can be worn and treasured everyday..

Handcrafted in Britain using recycled materials, her work ensures that while each piece honours the past, it is created for a sustainable future.
